Jumping frequencies
The professional model of Topo Stop has two modes of operation. One for humans fully audible sound (6-9 kHz) with a long range effect into every nook and cranny, but with the side effect of being disturbing also to man. This setting is therefore suitable for use in inhabited spaces like closed summer houses, warehouses, well insulated attics as well as closed crawling spaces. With the second setting Topo Stop will emit ultrasonic signals (25-30 kHz) at random.
On top of the randomly microprocessed sound emissions (1-2 second long signals at approx. 1-40 sec. intervals) which effectively stops the pest from growing accustomed to the sound, frequency jumps at random with a duration of less than a micro second are also being generated. These jumps are just about audible to humans since the speaker of the device physically can´t move that quickly, thus a faint click can be heard. In the same way the speaker won´t quite cope with the very quick changes in frequency the hearing of the pest won´t adapt either, hence mice and other rodent pest will feel great pain in their ears.
Dual action sound emission
Every unit of Topo Stop has it´s own built in independent microprocessor. This means when two or more units are installed in the same space you will establish a boosting dual (triple or more depending on the number of units) sound effect. The pest will never know which "foe" that will bark at them the next time, thus the effect of Topo Stop ultrasonic pest control can be enhanced quit considerably.
